Nasa @ Road America Open Track Aug 4-5 [rollbar required]

Hey guys/gals just thought I'd let you know about NASA's open track or HPDE events. You can get your Sky/Solitce out on the track. I've seen them at the events but never on the track. You don't need a bunch of fancy racing equipment to enjoy your car the way it was meant to be. A Snell M2000 or better helmet and a roll bar that exceeds 2'' above the drivers helmeted head. Our next event in the Midwest is at Road America. For those of you who are not close by, NASA has other regions throughout the US. You can find your region and sign up for the many events they host here....

Novices sign up in HPDE 1 and get 1 on 1 with an in car instructor. Come out and have fun with your car, spectators are always welcome. Come out and see what it's all about. We'll be at Road America August 4th & 5th. Stop by and say hi. Red 04 GTO #157. I'll post up some pics after the event.
See ya on the track.

Hey there. Skys and Sols have neither rollbar nor rollhoops. Not a lot of optimism wrt refitting so far either. One more HPDE we can't attend.

Looks like someone needs to grab a vendor and say we need a stylish, functional roll bar. Build it and orders will roll in. I'm sure it'll happen soon.

That's not even close to a roll bar.

Have seen a couple Solstices with roll bars installed. It is MAJOR surgery. It would be cheaper to buy a retired race car!!!
