Raced a Red Line! (at the Auto-X)

Hey all,

New here and stuff, but this past sunday I got to Autox a Sky! I have been racing a Saturn Ion Redline for a year or so and done well. I work at a Saturn retail facility and one of my Sky customers let me race his. Holy Siot! Absolutely GOOD! Show room stock and I was only .2 off the winning time in A/S. The S2000 was rididng on Hoosier A6's and Koni's on all corners. He wins most of the races around here. The was a Porche Boxter too. If I can get some more seat time in this, Its going to be on!

So Check it,
My buddy who was soo generous the let me co-drive his Sky RL, is double excited about AutoX now. We are getting R Comps and going to try alighnment and some new struts possibly and really make an attemp at kicking but in this car!
I am super stoked because he wants me to drive with him and make him quicker. Poor me!!!

We are attending a 2 day event this weekend at Myrtle Beach and have the new set up on the car!!!! Can't Wait

I will definately keep you posted. I might not get to drive the Sky. My friend, who owns the car, will have a lady friend with him this coming weekend and I think he might look better driving his own car. I totally understand! If not I am racing my Red Line Ion. Either way, I am excited

I took season first place in DSL last year. Plan on taking ASL next year. I do believe we will be in MB on Sunday, may try to make ot Saturday too. Do you have a girl driving the car? -J

How is that site - large/small? Is it worth an 8+ hour drive for the weekend?

We will be there for both days. I do not know if the She will drive the car or not. To my knowledge she has never raced before. Hope ya'll make it for both days. Look us up. Red Sky and silver Ion.
