Tire Pressure Sensor problem & Best ET @ the track

I bolted up a set of 245/40/18 Nitto 555's for drag racing and ran them around 18lbs of air at the track. Of course I knew this would set off the TPMS, but no big deal I would just air them back up after racing. But halfway to the track the TPMS malfunctioned and would only read the rear tires and not the front? I had the Nitto's on but was at 34lbs of air, I didn't drop the pressure until I got to the track. Even after I dropped the air pressure in the rear to 18lbs at the track, the monitoring system still read 33LR and 34RR and nothing for the fronts. ??? I thought this was really weird all I did was change tire and rims.
This morning I went out and put the stock tires and rims back on the car now all of a sudden the system is working fine?????????? Everything reads fine, doesn't make any sense?
Was wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

The car ran great at the track laying the smackdown on a few Stangs!

Best run was a 8.72 @ 79mph 60ft was a 1.87 The car ran a real consistent 8.7's - 8.8's all night long. Highest boost I saw was 17-18lbs.

The sensors are in your stock tires. Do you have other sensors in your racing wheels? If so did you set the TPMS up to read them properly? If not then the system was just displaying what ever it last read from the stock tires.
Looks like you did lay down some nice times.Congratulations

Man I feel like a dumb a$$ Duh!

No sensors in the Nitto's. I'll be honest I didn't even think about it but I guess you can tell that. But there not needed I guess since they will only see track use from time to time. Thanks
