Applying synthetic sealant

Here is a lamborghini Gallardo I put my sealant on, people have asked me what is involved to do this procedure, Itell them if you can wax, you can seal. the only difference is you allow the sealant to sit (cure) on the finish for a min of 20 minutes, then remove with a micro fiber towel. yes, you should prep the car first, by washing, and claying. as you can see ( if the pic show up) the results not only good stunning, but it will outlast any wax 6 times, Gary

Dumb question?

What is Claying????? Here in the south, we clay our 4x4 once a month and once a day if the beer is cold. By the time we finish our "Mud on the tires" routine, we've got that clay gooh bumper to bumper. If your part redneck ya know want I mean!!!!!!

I just put a synthetic sealant on my Sky.

I used Klass All-In-One followed by Klasse High Gloss Glaze.

It wasn't hard at all. Actually I tried it on an older car we have first to make sure it was OK.

It really seems like it will perform well.

With the Klasse there isn't a lot of curing time needed. First time out I put on too much of the Glaze and ended up with some streaking. In that case you just use a spray on detailer (which is also a sealant) and rub until the streaks come out. Worked great.

Oh, and if you have Chrome plated wheels you can use the glaze on the wheels.

The cool part is that the Glaze is anti-static and dirt does not want to stick to it.

After applying it, you really only need to hose the car off and dry. And you won't have to reapply the All-In-One or Glaze for 6 to 8 months. Not bad.

I bought a California Water blade after reading some reccommendations and it works wonderfully and will come in handy during the winter when I'd rather not have a wet hand.

I got all of my products from <non supporting vendor>.

I used a spritz detailer sealant and it all came off, just like some sites recommended and it wasn't hard to remove at all.

One thing is that you shouldn't have to use a lot of it. If you put in on right, there is nothing to remove. I did put too much on this time, hopefully I'll do better next time.
