Brushed Aluminum Cleaning Question

My question is that since the weather hasn't been the most predictable, I wasn't able to wash my car for several weeks. Due to this, there is what looks to be rust or maybe brake dust on the inside of the rims, I used the rim cleaner I have to help remove the debris, but this did basically nothing. Is there anything that can remove this?

Believe it or not, urine from the Ring-tailed Lemur has been shown in studies to effectively remove brake-dust build-up ...just not sure where you can find the stuff...

happened to me too

I had the same problem. The brakes rusted up something fierce. I just kept applying metal polish to them and now they are cleaner than the day I took my sky from the dealership.

I use this stuff http://www.autogeek.net/wg4600.html best tire/wheel cleaner I have ever used or seen. I spray 4 or 5 times, I use this stuff on anything & everything on the tire, (including caked on dried brake dust and it just melts it all away). I use a small hand held wheel/tire brush and also a long handled boars hair brush to get thru and behind the spokes--Takes 2-3 minutes to do my tires--works GREAT--no worries--
