Buttress plug - rust / lube

My buttress plugs, AKA Butt Plugs, have some surface rust. I assume these should have a little grease on them anyway.

Is a specific grease recommended? If not, I will try a thin coat of white lithium grease as it is less messy than black grease.

The end of the buttress is made of metal and should be lubed with a good white grease. As to the butt plugs, they are made of rubber and should not rust. And KY jelly is good for butt PLUGS....Skip....

You just reminded me of my favorite PIC (politically in-correct) cartoon strip.

Thanks - that's what I wanted to confirm.

Everyone is correct - the "plugs" are a different thing.
