Claying Windshield

For those of you who have picked up small inbedded chips/particles in your windshield, u can clay your windshield and they do disappear...leaving it clear again. Just something to consider.

Works great! It even fixes what seemed like wiper problems...now where in the world could one get the clay bars wholesale? If you drop it once you've got to throw it away and after a couple of years it gets real dirty looking.

I've heard some great things about clay on this forum. I bought my first clay bars tonight.

You may be nervous first when doing this treatment, either to your paint or window, but try not to be...just read the instructions...all u have to do is spray and then rub the clay on that wet area...that's it...then wipe dry/clean.

Could not be simpler.

Check the detailing section on the Sol forum. It appears to me that you do not have the same info here that we have over there.

i have used mcguires, zaino and black fire clay bars. mcguires and zaino felt and worked pretty much the same. the black fire bars were complete garbage! by the time i was 1/3 of the way done with the car they had melted into a gooey liquidy mess, dripped all over the pavement(which is still there as it will not come off!) and it did a horrible job. I used the bars the exact same way i have used the mcguires bars for years. (only tried zaino bars once and since they were more expensive but worked the same). Mothers is another reputable brand but i have yet to use their clay.
