Detailing Canopy

OK, I've searched the web for several hours looking for a decent detailing canopy. I've discovered several that look OK, but the information is somewhat sparse (geez, doesn't anyone know how to advertise anymore...very poor websites). 10x10 is fine, but I need a one person setup. I've seen the collapsible ones, which look pretty cool. Wind/Rain isn't an issue (as I won't be detailing anyway), so lightweight is fine..simple anchors. I would like it to go up quick. I just need something to keep both sun and random falling crap off the vehicle while I'm working on it. Anyone have any experience with this stuff?

yup - the EZ up style is the ONLY way to go.
But you definitely need to attach weight at each corner to prevent an accidental tip-over in case of a sudden wind gust.

Found this one in my inbox. Seems like a good price, and if it turns out to be a POS Sears has a liberal return policy.

I used to work at SportMart, now called SportsAuthority... they usually had a decent selection of them... but here is the website with a variety:

Sports Authority - Outdoor: Canopies / Screen Rooms: Instant Canopies: Search for Page 1 of 2.

They sell both the EZ up and the QuickShade mentioned above. Might have some reviews or descriptions for you.

WHOH: don't buy the from the EZ -Up website the 10*10 express is $329.99
SportsAuthority has the same EZ UP 10*10 express (minus the side walls) @ $199.99

We would have to set them up outside and take them down every night and they held up pretty well. The release buttons will tend to stiffen up and be hard to push

I saw a 10x20 at Sam's the other day for $299 - work on 2 Skys at once.

They also had a 10x10 for $199.

They usually sell top-notch stuff.

I've narrowed my choices to:

E-Z Up 12 X 14: $99.99

Quick Shade 12 X 12: $69.99

Maybe because its late and I am kinda sleepy but where did you see the quick shade for $69.99? I searched that site but I guess I am overlooking it.

Kmart.....HOWEVER...I ran by my store soon after it opened and they were either all bought out or never had any (likely the latter, knowing the store). This could be an absentee loss lead. I'm making the rounds looking for a "meet or beat".

These are all basically the same construction and structure.
Dicks Sporting Goods has a bunch of different types and I even saw one that came with Sand bags for the bottom of the legs.

Our Paintball team has 6 12'x12' ones and the have lasted very well. We bought them at Walmart.
