expensive paint

So I have this idea (after I do it I'll post pics-Skip); anyway stop by my painters' to get pint of paint-tells me where to get it(his shop can't sell it);
So I go to auto store-$70.00 for a pint????
I got a 1/2 pint w/reducer in it for $45 w/tx.
Guy at store said we have expensive paint-ok, guess GM splurged on something...

Kinda makes ya wonder how much Bluestone is worth, huh? It took a long time for that color to even be a option!

we sell dupont paint a pint of blustone chromabase is $42.60 problem is you need reducer and clearcoat with activator. would end up close to 100.00 for everything. i'm not sure a touchup bottle would match any of the metallic/pearl colors very well.
