Follow Up Detailing?
So I've washed her, dryed, clay bared, washed again and dryed. A coat of polish, buff, coat of wax and then buffed. She was so nice and pretty :-D
Now it's three weeks later. I try to wash her once a week but what about the polishing, claybaring and waxing? I know waxing is once every 4-6 months right? How can you tell when it needs a new coat of wax? What about polishing and clay baring though? How often should they be applied? What other "follow up" detailing should be done between full details? |

JOe, you need to buy my DVD, it will be the best 25 bucks you ever spent if you want info on car care. For now, you can read the sticky's on top of the forum, a full detail (wash/clay,deep clean/polish/seal) should be done twice a year. MY sealant will last 6 months, or 6 times longer than any wax. inbetween that time, if you wash on a regular basis use polyseal say once a month and your car will look like new all the time, my system is designed to keep your car looking its best without taking up too much time detailing. PM me if you need more help. Gary www.perfectautofinish.com
