Microfiber Towel Quality

I was looking around the forums and found a thread about microfiber towels Are Micro-Fiber products safe to use? It has a quote that some microfiber towels can scratch the paint. I did order some towels (and other stuff) from Kevin (formally Gary). While ordering covertible top products from another vendor I ordered some towels from them too "Cobra" brand. Has anyone had any problems with this brand scratching?

Thanks,

I have been using them for about a year now. I had a black Crossfire before my Sky and I never noticed any scratches from them. I do make sure that they are all machine washed after I use them and I keep them in a plastic bag so they don't get dusty in the garage.

I have been using both of those brands for about a year and have not noticed them scratching my cars. I'm very careful not to set them on the floor because they pick up everything. I also bought the special microfiber cleaner to keep them like new and always air dry them.

Yes I bought the microfiber towel cleaner too but I haven't tried it out yet. Thanks for the responses, I guess I'm good to go!

BTW that's one sad avatar you have.

I need to pick up some good microfiber towels. How much does a good quality one cost?

The reason I ask is Target carries a very large selection of various microfiber and car cleaning cloths and they are pretty cheap. Price is not an issue, in fact I expected them to be more. I want to make sure I get good quality stuff to clean my car with.

Are those going to be good?

Heres my car supplier site that I use when I want to learn about stuff. There are others mind ya, but to start you off, this will talk about everything you need to know. Towards the bottom, they talk about all the differences bwt the towels, what the different colors "usually" means etc (at least the cobra towels)--
