The top left is a pic of a 1969 280SE that I restored, the car was mint, had to let it go because the wife was all over me, I put way too much money in the car. I spent amost 3 days detailing, in order to get a show room finish on it,I enjoyed working on it though, really got looks at car shows. when I bought it I didn't know that in 1969 the Benz that was in demand was the SL's. pic on right is a modern 500SL, customers car, he wanted me to get the same finish on his car that I had on mone 69, sorry not the best pics, but they do make nice book ends. gary
