A quick tip for the edges of the film on the trunk lid

I noticed that the edges of the film on the trunk lid where the roof pegs snap in, are not all perfectly red (the color of the car). They show up white in some spots. I took a red Sharpie and touched up the white spots, then went back over it immediately with a detailing cloth. The cloth lifted any ink that was on the paint on the trunk lid, but left all of the film edges perfectly red.

Actually they are clear.... Not the color of the car

The white you see (saw) might have been polish/wax from the detail job.
A matchstick does a great job...

Yes that material is clear, much like the same stuff they use for the clear bra nowadays. As Rick Tinley Park said, what you are seeing is most likely wax trapped along the edges, it should be very easy to remove.

Yes the cardboard match (wet) gets all that wax out of there

An old soft toothbrush will work just as fine. I use my ex-wifes toothbrush and she tant noticed yet. But her teeth do shine...Hehehe...Skip...
