Review of Adam's products
I recently won the sampler pack from Adam's and finally got a chance to do my car today.
I used a Meguiar's clay bar, as I already have a couple and that is not part of the sampler from Adam's, but the rest of the car was used strictly Adam's products. The car soap was pretty much as expected, it seemed a little milder than some, as I had to work a little harder on a couple of bugs on the front bumper, but it held in my sponge better than most products, and I did not use very much of a bottle to do my entire car (maybe 1/4 of the 16oz bottle was used). It left my car with a pretty good shine, and the car smelled nice afterwards (my wife especially wanted me to comment on that). After this I used the clay bar, not that my car especially needed it (it was done 4 months ago), but I wanted to remove any old wax before doing the new. I used the Adam's detail spray as lubricant for the clay bar, and I have to say it works better than any previous detail spray I have used, but it does empty the bottle in a hurry. The detail spray is bubble gum scented, which I'm not sure is a good or bad thing, but interesting nonetheless. I used about half of a bottle to keep the car lubricated during claying. The next item in the sampler pack was "Buttery Wax". I did not use any polishes, and really have no need for them at this point as I don't have any swirling or scratches (yet ). The wax went on very evenly, and I used just under 1/2 bottle to do the entire car. It left my fingertips a little yellowed, but they washed clean with a little work Removing the excess wax took just a bit more elbow grease than some other brands I've used, but the shine was unmatched, in my opinion much deeper than even Zaino, which had been my previous favorite. I used another 10-12 squirts of detail spray over the course of rubbing in/off the excess wax in areas where it felt difficult to remove. The car has an excellent very even shine, and the reflectiveness is uniform in areas where I used detail spray and where I did not. Afterwards, I used the VRT (vinyl rubber & tire) product that came with the sampler. I used the included foam block (but I'm sure any foam block will work the same). I used this pretty thick on my tires, and they did clean up quite nicely, leaving then a very dark but matte black. I prefer a little shine to my tires, but they advise that this is not a tire shine product, and it works exactly as promised. I also used a tiny amount of this on the corner of the foam block along the window seals and convertible top seal, and it also looks much nicer, definitely not an area you would want shiny anyway. I had cleaned my wife's car last week, and I used the detail spray to get her front bumper and hood bug-free once again (actually does a fantastic job at loosening bugs, although there was already a very fresh coat of wax to help). Her car without a doubt looks shinier after the detail spray than it did immediately after the wax last week. All in all, I think the wax and detail spray are FANTASTIC. The car wash soap did a fine job, but if you already have a brand you are particular to I can't say this is any better or worse. The VRT works great and leaves your tires very dark but matte. If you like a shiny tire this product is not for you, but if you prefer a good clean look then this is the stuff. The detail spray seems to disappear a little faster than I would like, but I can't say I've ever used a better brand. I just placed an order for the undercarriage spray (black your wheel wells) and for the metal polish 1 & 2 (to shine the chrome wheels). I'll update after I have tried those products. If you are ordering cleaning supplies then you should probably order two bottles of the detail spray, as you will undoubtedly need another bottle soon and shipping isn't the cheapest. |

Thanks for the write up!! Our Car Wash Soap is different than the competition in that it's pH balanced with our waxes so it will NOT remove wax - allowing you to wash your car as often as needed without worrying about stripping wax off.
Thanks again, post pictures!

We have 3 of the pistol grip spray bottles of detail spray (for 4 vehicles) and we buy the Adams detail spray by the gallon jug.
