Rock chip fix query
I've got a rock nic on the hood. The nic is down to the primer. I believe I can touch it up OK. The problem is when the rock hit, it didn't completely knock off the clear coat and paint, but instead squished it up on the far side so it now sticks out above the finish, probably a few hundred micrometers.
What's the best way to cleanly remove this "hangnail" without damaging the adjacent clearcoat and paint?

lightly graze it with a razer blade. If you are pulling it to the right the blade should go across the bump looking like this. / Going this way --> Do it very lightly and be careful not to get any of the other paint. Should smooth it out after a few passes
