Scratches on hard plastic

I have a couple of deep scratches in the interior hard black plastic that covers the windshield pillar. About 6" above the tweeter. The scratches are white and are not scuffs - the plastic is cut. Not my doing, but ya can't check everything when on the lot.

What will fix this short of replacement?

I have scratches in the same place above the tweeter, right below the onstar mic. I don't remember causing them and my wife swears she diddn't do it. If you find out what causes them let me know.

Since my "passanger" scuffs up the door sometimes, I used the Magic eraser and it worked pretty well.....SteveSky67

If its really scratches. Then your going to have to use plastic putty and spray texture plastic.

If your looking to put a couple of gauges in as well, you could purchase the carbon fiber replacements from Dejon Powerhouse. Here's the link if your interested. DEJON | Powerhouse

Drill or screwdriver. I haven't tested the theory, but if anyone is doing work on the car involving a drill or screwdriver, I believe their is a tendency to misjudge clearance when rotating the instrument into or out of the car. This is doubly so if replacing the front weather strip.

Edit:

Oh, and the interior is a mutilation nightmare for anyone who wears anything pointy. Rings. Bracelets. Belt key chains. Scratch the doors, scratch the piano black, scratch the dash....I could go on. Anything metal-like and you're asking for it.

Exterior is a mutilation nightmare for belt buckles (when putting up the top) and rings (when opening the door). The ring/door combo is probably very common since our Cobalt handles are designed to open with hand wrapping over, which will extend any ring into the door finish.
