scuffing up inside door

I keep scuffing up the inside door panel getting in and out of my car! I'm not always in a place where I can open the door all the way, namely my garage. I'm about ready to take my shoes off when I get in and out of my car. Is this happening to anyone else? If so, what do you do?

Yeah - I get that - especially on the passenger side - stepkids/nieces/nephews seem to be the worst offenders. The glove box gets the most abuse. Use some Mequire's quick detail spray & it usually removes the scuff marks.

(or maybe I should just quit having passengers - get rid of two headaches at the same time)

I use to be a fan of the women's high heels but now they are a nightmare for my passenger seat door.

I have one right by the speaker on the drivers side and a smal one from my "passanger"..i think it is just cheap plastic...what drives me crazy is that i bought the Sky mats, but someone can't put her two feet on the mat instead of extending on the carpet...no respect for my car..

I have the same exact problem in my garage. I can't open the door all the way so my only option is to curl my leg up until it almost hits my chin and turn ever so carefully into place!

So far I have been able to remove the scuffs by using a chore boy with soap & water on the door panel. It is soft enough not to scratch the door but gets into all the grooves of the plastic panelling. Just don't use it on the handles or buttons!

You could try binding your feet the way the geisha girls use to....that way you would have little feeties and no problems marking your door panel......next T2TR I will help bind them if ya want!!!!!!!!!!

Same issue here. I'm 6'3" and have to make a very conscience effort when entering and exiting. Maybe some nice billet aluminum "accent" plates would be nice...

Don't worry. Try using a magic eraser and apc. If that doesn't work. Try #0000 super fine steel wool with apc.

scuffs

Funny, that was the first thing I noticed when I got my SKY, the dirt scuff on the drivers door! And I do it too, being so tall, I can't get my feet out of the car without dragging a toe across the doorsill. Eek!

I also used to have that problem and an earlier post solved that problem. They said to use 303 Protectant on both door panels. Well, that solved the problem for me! When your shoes hit the door, you won't leave a
