After I wax mine, the water beads up, then runs off. Unless it is in the valley of the trunk lid, then it beads up and sits.
When my truck hasn't been waxed for awhile, the water spreads out, then runs off, but leaves the surface wet.

It depends on the angle of the car and what you are using MR. Clean sheets off but I used the stuff from Zaino and it beads great.

kwayne, you bring up a great question, in the past after you waxed a car the water would bead up, it was discovered that when those beads stayed on your car, say in the sun for example, and dired, a water spot would etch into the finish. chemical companies have been increasingly aware of this and have changed technology in the modern polymer synthetics to have water "sheet" off a car. In this way, you won't get spoting................gary

I need some new technology then. Unless I use the Mr Clean filter, I still get beading.
