A buffer would be better with some light polish, any aggressive compound will dull the paint

Join the rest of us. At one time or another, it's going to happen. I caught a curb with my front right hand bumber, and it actually tore off my inner fender. The scrape marks are mostly on the bottom, and not very noticable. The dealer recommended replacing the entire lower unit of the front end. Fat chance that's going to happen. His next recommendation was touch up paint. It's been 6 months, and no ones even noticed it yet, so I'm leaving it be. Of course the inner fender cost me $160, but that's life.

3M bra will protect you...I had a bad incident on my bumper...it ripped a nice piece off the bra...but the bumper was intact...Of course, changing the bra cost an additional 400 dollars.

By the way, r u coming Dec 16th to Wilmington for the piggy bowl. PM me with your telephone number

I've been thinking about having the underside of my front bumper sprayed with rhino liner... anyone have an idea of what it would cost?

Nope - but I have been toying with the idea of having the clear Armor Coat done. I really need to check into what that will cost.

Rhino Liner is a poly coating that you spray on the truck beds and such. It is pretty thick and will absorb all kinds of abuse...Skip...
