Why conflicting detailing advice?
I've checks the forums, googled detailing, and have read the recommendations in the owner's manual. When it comes to vinyl and leather interiors, the "experts" are all over the map, providing conflicting advice. Hell, the owner's manual recommends avoiding any conditioning at all!
You would think in this day and age we could obtain some consistent and objective feedback on the proper way to care for his stuff. It ain't hard to objectively establish the effectiveness of these products. |

The seat surface is leather, the sides and bolsters are vinyl, treat accordingly. I use leather conditioner on the leather and vinyl stuff on the vinyl. I use the stuff from perfect auto finish because I bought it, works as well as anything else I have tried. Just make sure it's reccommended for leather what ever you use, nothing for leather will hurt vinyl as far as I know.
