1 DAY Trunk Mod now available!

Because of an increase in demand, we were able to fabricate ready to install trunks for the sky. Now we are able to install our trunk extension in your sky in ONE day! That means, you make an appointment, bring your car in and leave a few hours later with double the trunk space.

Trunk extension (bottom view)

Trunk shown with optional cooler.

***1 day installation does not apply to solstice trunk installs. Must have RPi GT exhaust for trunk installation.****

Its about flush, maybe 1/4" above or under depending on the valance. You wont be able to see it when the car is on the ground though. The valances warp pretty easily.

No, your diff, a-arms, etc are all lower than the trunk.

Ingenious Eloy! Nice work! Too bad i don't live in CA... something to think about in the future for me if i decide to upgrade my exhaust. I'd prolly just install it myself (exhaust + trunk mod) since i live in Houston. In the mean time, i'm EAGER to see what you come up with on the tune you are working on.

come on look at the picks, and then look at your stock exhaust, your stocker is a giant can right behind your rear bumper and it takes up all the room you have. the only way I can see to get the trunk add is to go with the gt exhaust or get a custom shop to do somthing simular but it wont be the same quality

Hehe, I get the same questions even though I post the answers on the first post.

"***1 day installation does not apply to solstice trunk installs. Must have RPi GT exhaust for trunk installation.****"

I've changed it to big red letters now.

Yep, a few months ago, we offered a free trunk cooler (to put your beer, er, milk and sodas) with all the trunk packages. The special is over but Adam wanted a cooler so he picked one up. Fits perfectly and from what he told me, he was able to drive over an hour with dip-n-dots ice cream in there. hehe. The GT exhaust really helped with the non-heating of the trunk.

Deminsions?

What are the deminsions of that new space? I can't quite decide if that would hold laptop bag or not. Hmmm... it probably would if I turned up on its end.

Unless you have Gigantor as a lap top, you'll have no problem at all with a laptop in there. I have a Dell Vostro and Inspiron 8500. In the laptop bag, either one fits in there with no problem at all...even room to spare. The trunk extension is 1.7-1.8cf.

I wish I could. hehe. The main problem is equipment, tools, and its totally not worth it to do one or else it would be a total loss financially. Come out to LA, visit Disneyland, Hollywood, etc.

Heh... Well we'll have to find you a workshop and a long list of people willing to bring their cars by...
