When the dealer installed the HID in my redline - it took them two days because they said the wiring on the redline was different than the base sky... Have you installed these on the redline? It could also have been that the dealer was making excuses for ineptitude...

What is this minor modification?
Any chance on getting them for the fogs too?

Is the 'Off road use only' statement a CYA clause since they didn't come stock with them?

I looked at a RL and didn't notice a difference. I will take a closer look next time I see John.

The minor modification is you need to drill the back caps for the low beam housing. They screw on and off and can be replaced by the dealership I'm sure if you wanted to go back to stock. We include a rubber grommet that seals the housing so you don't just have a hole in there. It looks stock when you are done.

Off road use only is because they are technically not street legal.

Thanks Brian! I know I've PMed you several times while waiting for your HID kit to come out. Thanks for putting up with me. I didn't want to take a chance ordering a kit from eBay and I know the Kappasphere kit will be top notch!

I am going to be at the dinner on Thursday so Brian can take a look. Then they will have my car next week to do some follow-up CAI documentation and testing, and I think they will even install the HID kit on SPIRIT and probably shoot more photos of the process.

Red Line questions should therefore be resolved shortly...
