Carbon Fiber Rear Fascia

I'm making a carbon fiber rear fascia for my 2.4GTS, so I was wondering what the demand would be out there for one. If I decide to make these available, they would be $350 each.

Sweet looking!!! I sure like it and would probably throw down on it. Looks way better than the R/L stock one!

Yep, real carbon fiber. My single piece costs me over $900 so I wanted to know if it was worth making a bunch. If people would buy them at $350, I would put them into production.

I won't know until I weigh it. This would be something that is more cosmetic than anything as the stock piece is pretty light weight already.

Exactly. That's where I'm at. I have two holes already, and a light piece of plastic there. Now if I had a single exhaust on my 2.4 SKY and wanted to go for a dual, and the Carbon Fiber price from you was only a little more than the factory Red Line part, why then I would say "Gimme!"

Keep the good stuff coming, buddy. Looks like you are having serious fun with Brutus!

Stoopid CF question, but how does it cleanup compared to plastic? When detailing the car, sometimes one gets product on the plastic which can be a chore to remove. How does the characteristics of this material play into this scenerio? Does CF cleanup any differently?

Definite interest here as well... I'd love to see how it looks on the car.

It would most probably be clear coated... so same as any other body panel.

Carbon rollpan

I would be very interested under one condition that you leave mine with no exaust ports. I have been tring to find one that is not cut. The reason is that I am having my own tips made custom and so the holes that are stock will not look right

It is probably built on a tool that already has the cutouts built into the tool itself. That would cut down on trim work afterward.

I think the weight difference is about the same as if you ate a hero and got back into your car.

How do you think the fascia would hold up to the exhaust temperatures however??

The problem is that once you start down the Carbon Fibre road you need to do more and more.

I would say that additional to that doing all the Silver parts (windsheild surround, console piece, strip behind seats, also dash where the shiny black is, also the silver on the stering wheel) that would look cool.

rollpan

Well if that is the case then I guess I have to make my own or get a glass on done and carbon it or paint it black which might look good to

At 350.00, I would purchase this product. Make some and bring them to Nashville for the SKY meeting

Yes, Joker, you'll need to find someone to make a custom piece for you. The mold costs us about $1000 which does not include the actual fascia. We can make it for you but you would have to cover the mold charge.
