Coming soon RPi Sky 2.4GT

We are still conducting some tests with our vehicle but we will soon be offering what we call the 2.4GT. Expect 350hp on the 2.4L base model. As of this time, the upgrade is not EPA approved but we are working on it now. In a couple of weeks, we will allow test drives at our facility to serious potential buyers. More info soon.

The car will be the 2.4L turbo-intercooled. There is a new clutch and lightweight aluminum flywheel. We will be offering our package with new 3 piece forged wheels and our 2.4GT badging. Expected cost is around $6900 excluding the wheels. Since we are in CA, we are tuning it for 91 octane.

We should have the car ready in a few weeks. I'll be testing the car on the streets as a daily driver then. We encourage those interested to come to our facility and check out the car then.

Almost. We are waiting on the wheels as they are custom 3 piece wheels. We are working on a big brake upgrade as the new power will need some support stopping the car. We are also trying to decide which tire combo to go with. The rear wheels spin too much with the stock wheel/tire combo.

I guess I'm one of the luck ones, I just checked on Yahoo maps and I'm only 87 miles away! Please let us know when you get CA emissions approval. I'd love to see this, although my wife won't be happy about me thinking of ways to spend her kitchen remodeling money.

It might be a while before we get it CA legal. It might cost more than we will ever be able to make back from selling our kits. It legal is not an issue, let me know.

Saw this car this weekend and it looks terrific! Let me know when you get final numbers on just the turbo kit. I'm not a big fan of custom wheels and whatnot...the turbo and brakes are all I'll need...

...oh...one more thing...

IT WASN'T VERY NICE TO TEASE ME BY SPOOLING THAT SUCKER UP NEXT TO ME THIS WEEKEND!!!!

god it sounded so nice....drooooooool.

So if we are on the other side of the country...are kits going to be availiable or is it road trip time? If a road trip is required scheduling etc. come into play.

Its best to make that road trip as a lot of things get changed. Suspension, brakes, wheels, tires, turbo and each car will be tuned individually...After dynotuning, you will be provided with a print out of actual power/tq your car is making as well as a video of the conversion. I don't really like the idea of someone tuning a car across the country, then putting that same tune in my car in CA. Not all cars behave identically so the tunes should really be customized to the car. The idea of the 2.4GT came as an alternative to the mallet sky ($40k conversion). We wanted to make similar power at a quarter of the cost.

Will you be offering the different upgrades seperatly. Such as the Big Brake kit along with the other parts.

It would be nice to find a company that offers almost all of the upgrades for the Saturn Sky. Along with a company that might sell a replacement grill to get rid of the chrome bar going across the front of the vehicle.

We will be offering the parts separately. The 2.4GT is just the package as a whole where we would need to do the install and tune from our own dyno. The 2.4GTs will also come with a different grill as we are not big fans of chrome. Its aluminum with aluminum mesh. Heres a pic.

Would not mind considering the long trip, and your price seems fair. However Fl To Ca is a very long haul. My first thought was, ok. Lets say something craps out coming home? What about warranty? What if someone like me needs something simple checked out or changed? Now if you were closer, well then no problem. That is one reason as much as I would like to give you the work, or some work, your just to far away for us East coast guys & gals--Which leaves me & (us) with the only option of the "regular" Hahn S2, for example, and my dealer here will do the work--Or even better, an eventual OEM turbo, that will KEEP my preserve my warranty. I guess thats what I'm holding out for--We'll see what this year brings-- I do envy the people in your area, to have a supporting vendor so close is an advantage, no doubt. Good luck & keep up the good work-

I completely understand your concerns. We do everything we can to ensure quality, etc. The Hahn kit is a great kit. I would recommend having it installed with a reputable shop as there are some things that require modification. One thing that you could be done is swapping out the turbo system from the redline to the 2.4L but then it would end up costing 3x more than an aftermarket turbo kit.
