The font in the attachment was created by a SKY owner and he has requested that I don't duplicate it. I'd like to honor his request as I know he's working hard on staying unique and I'd rather not upset a good customer

Yet Another Black with mirror and "Redline" seat logo

Count me in for black with the drivers-side mirror cut-out and the "Redline" logo to match the seats.

I photoshopped what the seat embroidery might look like (your visors may not look anything like this...this is for brainstorming purposes only...the passenger side visor seat logo should probably go on the other side of the visor. Either way, you get the idea as do I.). Seeing this make me want them more! I'd have to say this is almost as exciting as getting the car itself.

Looks Good
But I agree that the passenger side one needs it to be done on the left side.
And that is the way I want mine.

I will go thru my list of 2000 fonts and come up with a personal italic REDLINE for myself then and get back with you.....let me know when you get the passenger mirror thing dialed in. While I'm thinking about it would the passenger mirror be placed on the far right is that the correct positioning for it? I guess that way the text for the drivers side would be on the right and the text for the passenger with mirror would be on the left? Thanks.....

Correct. I like to keep things symmetrical.

Order correction

Hi JPM,

The writeup on the order summary doesnt' match what I meant (doesn't mention the graphic above the lettering), so with my crude cut and paste skills I'm attaching a pic to give a better idea. It's red embroidered, centered on each visor. Hope that helps...Thanks!

Cool. Ok, I'll change it. THanks for the heads up. I'll be PMing everyone with order confirmation either tonight or tomorrow night.

Ok, everyone that I have signed up on the group buy should have received a PM with price/payment information or, if you're undecided, you got a reminder. If you have any questions at all, please call or PM me.

Everybody that requested REDLINE to be embroidered on their visors, I will have several versions to choose from that I'll email/PM you to verify which one you want on your visors before they are made.

Thanks again to everyone that ordered. I'll leave the group buy open another week to get any stragglers and will raise prices after that.

Just as an update, I've been behind on getting the redline logos up for those of you that wanted to look at the different options. Our embroidery software had some problems that were recently resolved. I'll get some pics posted or PMed first of next week. Don't worry, things are still on schedule.

Would like a pair in black, with mirror cut out for drivers side. Would like a dragon in red on right half of each cover. The wife has the custom etched dragon windrestrictor in red so this would look great on her forrest green redline.

http://www.windrestrictor.com/custom...l_DSCN1219.jpg

something that approximates the outline of the above would be great. Or if you really want to go all out, mayhaps windrestrictor could share their PDF file with you so you could copy it directly. Who knows, this might be a great product marriage.

JPM has a good relationship with windrestrictor.com. The dragon is very nice, but the embroidery machine won't be able to do that much detail. I'll see what my graphics guy can come up with that's similar and doable in embroidery.

I would like a set of these for my Redline. My RL is black with red interior. Do you have a pic of the document holder strap? If possible, I would like the mirror cutout, the doc holder strap and also the SKY RL logo like th seats have. WOuld the strap interfear with the logo?

So what is the ETA on these? It's been almost two weeks since I paid and have yet to get any kind of update. I would think that since these purchases are expensive that we would be kept up to date on the progress.

Per the first post, the frist two weeks after the initial post were dedicated to taking orders and payments. Production has begun and the visors will start shipping out soon (plain ones first then embroidered).

Please be patient as these are made. Since this is a bulk order, part of the discount comes from me being able to take a little longer than a standard order. Feel free to contact me any time you have questions though. I'm always available.

Also, only a handful of people that signed up have made their payments causing a holdup on material orders. If you signed up for set of visor covers, please go ahead and make your payments unless you have already spoken to me. Thanks.

First, I am being patient. I was simply asking for an update, as I think, since I sent money 2 weeks ago, it is only appropriate to ask for an update.

Second, are you saying that even though I paid I have to wait until others have paid before production can start? You're going to have to keep us posted often because if it doesn't start soon I may back out and want my money back...and when I say soon I mean in the next 1-1/2 weeks or so.

You gotta understand...money has been paid and not even an ETA...after two weeks? Then come to find that materials haven't even been ordered because others haven't paid. Eh, this is starting to concern me.

I'm sorry, I must have come off the wrong way. First, let me take a moment to appologize for any rude or short comments that might have been taken from my first post as that was most certainly not my intent.

Your business is greatly appreciated (as well as your patience) and I assure you that you are not waiting for anybody to get their payment in. Once you have paid, you are my customer and your order will be fulfilled on time regardless of others that might be in on the group buy.

I was trying to explain the nature of the ordering process but probably could have done a better job. I usually get a great deal of time frame requests through PM so my responses tend to lose detail once I'm on the 20th response due to time constraints.

I mentioned the materials so that everyone has an idea of how things work. Since everything I make is a custom order, I don't stock materials in bulk but rather order on a per job basis (also b/c I'm a small company). I do keep common materials in stock though so simple orders like visor covers/boots/etc can be fulfilled immediately up to a ceraint number.

That said, I promise you will get a quality product and that any answers will be answered shortly after they are asked. I have yet to have a customer that was displeased with my service or products and I'd like to ensure that everyone here is 100% happy with what they receive.

Please let me know if there is anything more I can do for you to make sure you stay a happy customer.

Well, you didn't come off rude at all, and I now realize that I sounded like a jerk, but that wasn't my intent, so I apologize as well. Sometimes its difficult to tell the mood on emails/posts.
