Kappasphere in GM booth at Formula SAE!

Hello everyone. I had the pleasure of visiting the Formula SAE event this year at California Speed Way in Fontana. For those of you who are not familiar with this event, several schools are challenged with building a car that they must put to the test. They have everything from oral presentations on the cars to actual time attach testing. All of the cars were amazing and it's even more amazing to know that they were built by students. Schools come from all over the world to compete in this event. We had a nice conversation about the Sky with a group of students from Brazil in fact. There is a small prize for the winner, but the biggest prize is the prestige.

GM is a big part of this event and was kind enough to invite us out and asked that we leave our Sky with them for the week to sit in their booth. We were more then happy and drove the car out Wed. to deliver it. I must say, the reaction from the students put a huge smile on my face. They LOVED the car! We got to park next to a stock Redline to show what the stock car looks like and what can be done with it in the aftermarket. Wed. night there was a banquette at UTI's campus in Rancho Cucamonga. It was a class act and we even got a tour of the school! I can't say enough good things about how GM treated us and how incredible the minds of tomorrow were!
