How much are just the tips going to be? I think I might want a set of each just to mix it up a bit (I have the GT exhaust).

I'll bite for the exhaust with Square tips, but only if it can beat or meet the price of the Magnaflow which is around $550.

Re-read the first post. The price is right there, and it is a lot more than $550.

Its called haggling..

Haggling is the process of negotiating the price of something (e.g. a piece of merchandise or a service) with the intent of getting a better deal than the stated price. This is the opposite of the just one price policy implemented by many stores in the 20th century..

Optimally, if it costs the retailer nothing to engage and allow haggling, he can divine the buyer's willingness to spend. It allows for capturing more consumer surplus as it allows price discrimination, a process whereby a seller can charge a higher price to one buyer who is more eager (by being richer or more desperate). Haggling has largely disappeared in parts of the world where the cost to haggle exceeds the gain to retailers for most common retail items. However, for expensive goods sold to uninformed buyers such as automobiles, haggling can remain commonplace.

Sorry buddy. You really cant compare an RPi exhaust with Magnaflow. T304 vs. 400ss? 2whp vs. 14whp?

Ohhhh, I think Eloy will do just fine with his sale! I bought his GT system the last go round and it is just awesome, everything about it! Lots more HP - the engine actually feels like it breathes better, great sound, and the guys that know exhaust who see it in garages and parking lots always ask about the custom tips and construction. Well worth the small outlay!

HP difference of tips

So will the stealth tips on the GT system sacrifice any HP compared to the GT tips? What kind of testing have you done for the stealth tips and GT exhaust combo? How does it sound compared to the GT tips?

I remember you saying in a previous thread that the GT tips were an integral part of the performance of the GT exhaust:

Hehe, sorry. The GT system has "tuned" tips. Its not just some system thrown together. Its really a gem of an exhaust system that shouldnt be tampered with.
