Its not only raw weight like Jarcher said. The handling flat out sucks with larger and heavier wheels. A lot of people got large aftermarket chrome rims from the dealership. Man, you guys do NOT know what you are missing. I worked on a customers car who had 20" aftermarket wheels. He had lower profile tires put on so that the over diameter was not that much off from the factory size. WOW, that car handled like crap. The ride quality also sucked some big hairy.... With the lower profile tires, it almost felt like the car was riding on the rims alone. Acceleration was sluggish and the braking was horrible.

Hehe, well you dont want to go smaller than stock. 18s with better tires works great.

Its nice to know you keep us white trash members in mind when you create new items. This is not the first slam on the membership hopefully it will have an effect your sales.

You would be silly to think that Kappasphere came up with that design. Theres many after market wheels that use that design. I think it was an original BBS design if anything. A Very popular look on the German cars and tuner cars. you would also be surprise to know that most wheels are made by the same manufactures just branded differently.
Anyway this wheel looks a lot better than Kappasphere's (personal taste) since the lip looks more attractive with the simulated multi-piece look.

I think its a nice way to offer customers a lower price alternative to those expensive 3 piece wheels. The 3 piece wheels are worth the cash but out of some people's range.

just my

I dont think we ever mentioned anything about coming up with the design ourselves.
