This special price will be available for anyone who comes here. It wouldnt matter where you drove from I guess. At this price, we are basically charging 1 hour of labor for the install. Book time on the install is 8 hours. If they did that, I would say 3-4 weekdays.

We are working on a few upgrades for the kit. Rather than using the 16g turbo, we will be using the GT28RS ball bearing turbo. With a new tune, we are expecting 350whp. So, in a sense, we are installing the Hahn stage 2 but also offering our version of a stage 3.

The kit can be installed in one day. The biggest problem is the ECU reflash. The Hahn kits require you to send them your ECU and have them reflash it. The best way to do it would be to prepay for the kit, send the ECU into Hahn for flashing, then come out here when you have the ECU back in the car. You would probably drive here running a bit rich but I dont think there will be a problem. The kit takes about 6-8 hours to install so yes, it can be done in one day.

We can overnight the ECU to them and have them overnight it again. The reflash should only take a few minutes. We would have to set up a time when we know they will flash it as soon as they get the ecu from us.

Not sure what else I can do. The kits usually go for $3800-3900+ $100 shipping. We are basically doing a free install for this promotion. Shoot me an email or something if you want it shipped to you but I don't think the price will be much different.

HI Eloy,

350 kinda scares me a little. It seems that doubling stock HP is sure to grind something into dust internally. Is there other mods that should be done at the same time to insure the engine and drivetrain don't explode? What's all the talk about "forged internals?" Didn't Saturn modify the Redline internals just to handle the measly 260 horsies?

However, after seeing your post with the smokin' hot deal, the little devil on my shoulder won't let me forget you're there. I'm really interested, but don't want to blow up my new car and have Saturn give me the middle finger on the warranty.

the internals of the redline are rather robust. They could probably handle close to 400whp before needing modification. As for the 2.4L, not so sure. And the warranty...........well.............just ask them. If it were a little stage 1 turbo, they probably wouldn't mind too much. A stage 3 system.......well........i don't think they'll be smiling.

This is a GOOD deal. Too far out for me to drive. The gas alone would be the price of the install. Also I would have to over night the ecu. So that would tack on a few more bucks. Might be cheaper to buy a ecu from the dealer ship like normal 5day ground and then get it shipped to the shop. There is another idea for people who are really thinking about heading on down for the free install.

Doubling stock hp is nothing new. I guess the good thing for you guys is that we are testing the limits of each motor. As far as I know, there is nothing special internally found in the redline other than its running in a lower compression. I still think the 2.4L will be the powerhouse of the two. I know we can make 350whp on the stock 2.4L, and with a headgasket probably 400-420whp.

I have a SKY (Non-Redline) and I had an after-market exhaust from Dynomax that was provided through R&D and I wonder what my horsepower is....

And thats exactly what you'll get, the middle finger. I already discussed the Hahn with my service manager, in fact they are the ones that told me of it's availiability. They'll be glad to order it, install it etc etc, but there is a string attached on the warranty--I have to sign some type of "waiver" form. Thats code I'm sure sure that states if you blow up your engine Saturn will NOT be held responsible--On my next service visit, I'll try and get a "copy" of this "waiver" form to see what it states--I've always been eye-balling this Turbo upgrade, rather do that than nickel-N-dime other upgrades--BUT, losing my warranty coverage for a car that primarily is driven by mama, well not at the moment--That has been my only fear of this, losing warranty on any part of the drive train, which really will be the "parts" under stress--I am hopeful however, that one day in the near future, Saturn will come up with a kit for our 2.4L, that will not void my warranty--

PS--However, the fact that one of our supporting vendors is making this aval at this price is very impressive indeed--In my case even if i wanted it it would not be possible, you guys are to far away, cost more, but for those in your neck-of-the-woods- and can care less about warranty, a nice offer indeed--
