Yes, I have actually. It's going to take a bit of an investment to make them properly though. Something I'm going to have to keep on the shelf for now until more r&d funds present themselves.

How many people do you need to commit to take it off the shelf, and place it on the work table?

Besides, I noticed that this hasn't even been brought up on the thread at the Solstice forum. There are a lot more of them than there are of us...

I would estimate I'd need about 10 commitments at an estimated cost of $165 per unit. That would cover molding costs, foam injection, etc to make a replica of the OEM seat bottom that's shorter in height. The leather part would have to be altered for attachement points though. I'm trying to think up a way to make that a DIY. I can shorten the attachment points in about 20minutes on each seat bottom if they're sent in. Not sure if those doing the conversion would be willing to send in the bottom seat leather though.

Anything you want. It just takes a bit longer if it's something we don't have digitized already.

That's a good idea. I've been meaning to do that among other things for the site. It would be a close representation at best since everybody's monitor is slightly different.

Joe do any of the aftermarket seats allow you to open the center console waterfall area as well? I've never been a big fan of the factory seat and would love a more secure racing style one. It should also be comfortable for longer rides as well, and I would like the ability to lean forward as well. Most of the recaro ones I have seen have blocked access to teh waterfall console and were fairly pricey for a non-racer. Also the seats on your website are those for a pair or individual seats?
