What is the installation process for installing the performance ECM? Is it plug and play or is there something else that needs to be done?

I believe its plug and play, then a crank relearn at the dealer. Pretty simple and straight forward.

here are the 3 ways you can order--
I believe the special going on now is for option number 3.

1. Ship us your ECM and we turn it around the same day we recieve it. This is the best option and requires no extra work other than plugging it in. (since they are using your OEM ECM, no crankshaft relearn is necessary.. just plug and play)

2. We will have a core program for a core swap. We ship your our core after you give us a deposit and after you install our core in your Sol you ship us your original. This will require a 3-5 minute security relearn procedure which you can do at home and will also require a Crankshaft Variation Learn to be performed by someone with a CAN compliant Professional Scan tool.

3. Purchase of a core outright. We will sell you a new core ECM at a considerable savings over the dealer retail price with our tune on it. This will also require the security and crankshaft learn as listed above, however it will allow you to keep a spare stock ECM
