Can someone post how the WR2 Attaches to the Sky? I am thinking of getting one but think with a etched design it may be a pain to try to see through and wonder if it is a quick removal or if it would require tools.

Its attached with velcro. See pic.

It's kind of an industrial strength, locking velcro.

Dual Lock is from 3M

I didn't want to use the lighting feature...do I need to in order to get the color feature?

Thanks for posting the picture Texas. That's what I wanted to see. I am familiar with 3M dual lock as we are a distributor of 3M. Now all I have to do is think what design I want done

Still not sure if I should stick with Pink.. or go with MULTI....

Anyone know whats the difference between Version 1 and Version 2 except for price? Thanks!

Version 1 is mounted between the trunk lid and tulip panel (silver panel behind the head rests). It basically rests on some spindles that you install inside the trunk and is held in place by being sandwiched between the trunk lid and the panel.

Version 2 is mounted directly behind the seats, forward of the tulip panel. It is attached using an industrial strength velcro-type material.

Both versions should be able to be left in place with the top up, although version 1 requires you to put little clear rubber bumpers on either the rear window or the Wind Restrictor to make sure the WR doesn't damage the defroster or the top.

May be hard to tell in the pics, but here is a picture of a Version 1:

And this one is a Version 2:

Can't I just attach the Version 1 to the inside like you do with the version 2 (3mSuper velcro tabs) or is there a shape difference? I like version 2 much better because there is no direct contact with the rear window.

I think the version 2 is a thicker material. And it is cut so that velcro on the WR is inset into the plastic so that the WR sits flush up against the car. If the velcro wasn't set into the WR, then the WR would kind of stick out because that industrial strength stuff is pretty thick.

Plus the bottom edge of the version 2 has a nice brushed aluminum plate to cover up where the velcro is so the velcro isn't visible in the passenger compartment through the clear plastic.
