I asked a friend that has had the 3m bra on a bright yellow mustang for three years. I gave it the up close eyeball and it looks great. He paid under $300.00. The fella that applied it is an authorized dealer, but works out of a shop behind his house....looked worth it to me, although I was skeptical before I saw one up close and personal it was impressive and not a single rock chip, but impressively not a ding in the coating anywhere.

I opted *not* to have it done on the hood as it was not a full hood cover ($1000). I had the dealer show me some cars (non-Sky) that had the partial hood cover and you can really see the line. It can be cleaned (each day) but in high dust, dirt, or pollen areas you end up looking as if there is a line on the hood (there is). I opted to have everything else done but the hood.
