I decided to go back to get the valves installed by the dealer... Since they made an error on the first diagnose, they said they were gonna install the valves without another diagnostic charge, and if that didnt solve.the issue, then they will replace the waterpump with the powertrain warranty... as long as it gets fixed I figured $156 its not bad ... ill let u guys know whats up.. Thanks again to y'all for the info

sorry for the delay, I was enjoying the christmas break. Well I got the car back the 22nd the cost of the parts and labor was 133, and the next day I successfully drove 600 miles here in texas with a max temp of 205.the car is back to normal 199-205 range.

Yesterday I was driving along feelin' fine in my 2007 Sky Redline on a hot Friday afternoon (top up) and all of a sudden it seems that the AC just ain't doin' it's thing! I checked the engine temp. and sure as rain my baby was HOT! 235 degrees!???! At this time I'm like WTH!???! was almost home so I drove it in and checked the coolant level and it was ok.....kinda had that sick in my gut feelin' ya know? So, I decide to look for answers on the skyroadster site and WAZOOOO!!!! I ain't the lone ranger! lol I burped it like you guys have explained here and started it and let it idle for a while.......seems to have done the trick! It's raining now so I'll try her out tomorrow and see if the fever is gone. Right now she's sleepin' peaceful under her cover! lol THANKS for the GREAT posts guys! They have helped me once AGAIN!

I am sorry, You had bad experience.

I wonder why, how air babble though in the coolant. We know how to fix that bubble trouble. Anybody tell me what the situation make this trouble.
I want know mechanism of this trouble.

Saw a post by TomatoSoup on the solstice forum about how to remove air in the system (Attention: For no heat/over heat issues - Page 10 - Pontiac Solstice Forum). Bought the pump at Harbor Freight, and $5 and 5 minutes later problem solved. I had tried the squeeze method and the lifting the coolant tank method previously, both seemed to move some air out of the system, but apparently not enough to solve the problem. Anyway, major thanks to TomatoSoup for the fix, and to everyone on this forum. Once again you guys have saved me major time and $$$ not dealing with a dealership or mechanic.

Bonus: Trifecta tune arrived today. Will post later about my experience with that.
