Ambient Temperature Gauge

I am new to the forum (just got my Week End Luv in mid-March) so I apologize if anyone has already asked...but my ambient temp. gauge appears to take up to 1/2 hour to adjust to the actual outside temp. Ex: gauge says 59 degrees when the actual temp is 85. It isn't like I am stopping and starting the car - I am driving continuously for that 30+ minutes. Any ideas?

There is some complex program to allow the temp to work.... Part of it was it had to be driven at or above a certain speed for an allotted time... All I know is when I start my car in the morning; the first temp it shows is what it was when I shut it off. By the time I get to the first stop light (.2 mi from my house) it shows the correct temp as shown on the school sign near that corner. A half hour seems awful long...

Here is a good discussion with a link back to a service bulletin on this very subject!

Get a Red Line. That way you just leave it in "boost" display all the time. You never see any of that other DIC information. For what it's worth, my temp display works like it should. Yours does have a problem. They just don't know why at this point. Probably a glitch in the code.
