Any Trouble w/ 3" exhaust on a 2.4 ? Or stay at 2.5
Looking at new erxhaust for my 2.4, norm breathing, non-turbo sky. Do I want to go for the bigger exhaust or are there engine burn up been problems w/ that fast flow from low back pressure?

I worked very closely with Magnaflow on this, as SPIRIT was the prototype test car for the 3.0 inch exhaust. I worked with their research guys pretty closeley, and I can state the following with certainty:
2.5 on non-turbo SKY = Maximum Performance Gains 3.0 on SKY Red Line = Maximum Performance Gains Flip it around and you get: 2.5 on SKY Red Line = modest performance gains (about half the 3.0 inch) 3.0 on non-turbo SKY = NO performange gain/possible performance loss due to no back pressure Stick with the 2.5 inch on the non-turbo SKY; it looks the same out the back and provdes better horses under the hood. (Also has better ground clearance, to boot! Better ALL the way around.)
