So I have an intermittent thermostat sticking problem.
P0128 SATURN Description
Indicates that the thermostat monitor has not achieved the required engine operating temperature within a specified amount of time after starting the engine.
I noticed my car wasn't blowing very hot air before the check engine light popped on. Though now it seems to be fine, but the light is still on. I'm sure if the issue doesn't persist the light will go off.
How tough is it to replace the thermostat in the redline? It looks like the valve cover needs to come off to get to it? :-/
The noise I'm hearing is kind of like a ticking. It is very regular. I don't think it sounds like a lifter issue, but this is my first redline so I don't know what lifter ticking sounds like in these. Does anyone have a regular ticking noise in their engine when it is warmed up. I need to check to see if it does it when cold also.
