The whole engine bay is a thermos for the engine. That's why there's a radiator and coolant flowing through it.

Sorry, not trying to sound smart just staying the obvious.

Has anyone actually made the hood and fender vents functional? I would think that would be more beneficial, no?

As stated on the first page, all vents on my car have been opened. Runs much cooler. Ask Tammy? She's a women driving, that explains much of what happened.

I should know better.. my truck with a GM engine and mexico electronics is still pissed at me for putting it underwater..
