DDM "Final cleanup"

In the instructions for the installation of the DDM Supercharger one of the necessary components of the system is included or is not included???
Step #3 of Final Cleanup; Swap out your ECM with the one supplied with the kit. The kit is advertised as a complete bolt on kit. "DDMWorks Stage 2 kit includes everything you will need" components are listed and it says ECM re-flash (core fee may be applicable)
I am probably just a dumb old farm boy, but when step three of my John Deere instructions said to "swap out" that meant to remove the old part and put on the new part that was supplied with the repair kit.
When reading the technical information listed for this upgrade (which by the way I intend to pursue!) I find some things a bit confusing. I uh would like some feedback on this if you please. I'm sure it's just me, not being up to date with the technology. But then again it is supplied, if you pay another $350.00. Puggs

I believe you send the ecm back to ddm for a reflash.

Yes, you send back your ECM and they reprogram it. Maybe they have an exchange available, but then you would need to have your ECM relearn your engine crankshaft position (trip to the dealer). It is easiest to send yours in for reprogramming.
I had previously purchased a spare ECM from PCM4Less, I sent that in to DDM for my reprograming.

They have an exchange program. Give them $350, change out the ECM's, and then send your stock one back, and get your $350 back.
