TomatoSoup is right, the 2006 cars all have that bushing, most all of the 2007 2.4L cars have that bushing, all 2006-2009 automatic cars have that bushings, some very early 2007 GXP/Redlines have that bushing however most do not, all 2008-2009 GXP/Redlines do not have that bushing. Hopefully that makes sense, so
2006 - All cars have that bushing
2007 - All automatic cars have that bushing
Almost all manual 2.4L cars have that bushing
Most manual GXP/Redlines do not have that bushing
2008 - All automatic cars have that bushing
All manual 2.4L and GXP/Redlines do not have that bushing
2009 - All automatic cars have that bushing
All manual 2.4L and GXP/Redlines do not have that bushing
As for the shifting noise, it is a little bit of a chance when replacing that bushing. We have installed some that made the noise go away completely, we have installed some and the noise did not change and we have installed a couple that the noise was still there and maybe a little more noise.
