Delco Battery Dead!

Redline - 6 months old - 2700 miles. Out of hibernation several weeks and the battery is dead. All winter, I have been able to start it every two weeks and no problem. I've tried charging is but it won't go much above 11 volts after two days. Taking it to the dealer for diff recall next week. I can Jump the car to get it started and get to the dealer. Just hope I don't stall it on the way. My 2005 Vet is on it's third battery. What's up with Delco Batteries. Has anyone had a dead battery with their Sky?

Not that it helps your problem, but I didn't think there were "Delco" batteries anymore. I thought Delco switched to Delphi. My father used to work at a Delco plant, and I remember them redoing the front of the building a few years after he retired to put the Delphi name on it. (It's been bulldozed since then.)

Maybe they still put an AC Delco sticker on top.

The Delco brand name is still owned by GM and used to sell parts, etc. Why GM keeps three seperate parts brands going I don't fully understand though. (GMPP, Goodwrench, AC Delco)
