Door skin replacement

Is there any place to get a door skin at a discount?
Thanks!

Don't know where, but in the long run wouldn't it be better to replace the entire door itself?

No, not by a long shot. Only time you replace the whole door is if the structure and impact bar are crushed. Doing just the door skin is not only cheaper, but in many cases, it's a lot faster too since you don't have to go through the alignment blues.

GO to a local body shop get their price for the door skin. tell them you will give them another $50 to just carry it out the door. I have done this plenty of times No work order no paperwork just cash and carry

They pocket the extra money you get a good deal A new door is around $400 for a solstice not sure about a sky though

OK makes sense to me. I was thinking buying an undamaged used door would be better if one could be found, vs grinding out and redoing all the spot welds. Oh well learn something every day.
