GM 2.4 Intake kit

I may have missed a post here somewhere but I have been researching the intake systems available. Called our dealer parts and found that there is a GM SKY 2.4 kit, and it is some $420.00! Well found the same kit on E- bay & for $150 plus shipping, won the bid. Kinda wished I could of read about anyones experience with that same kit though before the big win! I also plan to cut my pipe and add the Kappasphere muff. system and a high cap converter. I'm trying to add fuel mileage and a different tone. Anyone have any results?

I got the GM Intake on BABY and matched it up with the Borla exhaust. Makes that car sound meaner than SPIRIT with the Magnaflow setup...

Put the GMPP CAI and CATBack on in Jan of 2006....very happy with the parts and since the $13 oil change for life (of the car) means my tech just throws on a filter when dirty.

Installed yesterday. Was easy! Would recommend loosening the 2 - 10mm nuts, drivers side airbox hanger bracket, left side of radiator. Retighten them when the cai is tightened up and in the correct position and grommetts are tight. Rick, you're wrong, 1 beer for the install, 2 for the grinn!! Cheers for the un-cluttered looks! Sounds MEAN!
