Loaded Tires (because.....whatever)
Just some geewhiz, for those who might find it useful.
Here are the effective diameter in inches of the Eagle F1 GS-2. 245/45ZR18 Unloaded: 26.68 Loaded 1: 25.81 Loaded 2: 25.66 Loaded 1 is derived from backing out the tire diameter required to match the RPM values spec'd in the Pontiac Solstice book for a fifth gear cruise of 60mph. 2180(NA) and 2185(GXP). Loaded 2 is derived from the manufacturers revolutions per mile spec identified on the tire spec chart. 786. Makes me wonder if the manufacturer's loaded figure is at 29psi, and the one I backed out from the 60mph cruise reflects the higher psi one would experience once the tires warmed up?
