Mobil 1: Truck & SUV?

Had my oil changed over the weekend... couldnt get into the dealer, so instead went to my trusted long-term oil guy (My DIC was at 4% Oil Left!)

I noticed that he was using Mobil 1 Truck & SUV blend... the sky definately doesnt meet that criteria. He mentioned its the same Mobil 1 as passenger car version... but they added additional additives for better performance and clean. He said his pricing was the same from his distributor so he decided to stick with the better product (in his mind) for all cars.

So what do you think about that?! I did some googling and see a few mentions where others are using in thier passenger cars... so I felt much better about it.

honestly if it was up to me and that was the only option available I would still use it. It is still mobil 1 synthetic and the correct weight. Sometimes I wonder if the additives that they claim they add really do squat. I think you are fine with that in your sky. Been using Mobil 1 for many years in all kinds of engines from car engine to jet engines
