New for 2008

Not much new here, but I thought you might be interested in reading GM's summary of new features, and technical specifications of the 2008 Sky.

It says on the site one of the colors is Carbon Flash. Does anyone know if this color even existed? Has anyone actually seen this color?

That color should be showing up on the Sky's anytime now - it was set up to be a "midyear release". It is already available on a couple of Saturn models -it is a cool color .

I still see no reason to replace my 2.4L Sky..., they both still have the same "flaws"... More bells & perhaps a few more whistles, but they are NOT addressing the meat of the matter.. It is not going to change the LSD leaks, the R/L's not running/or going into limp mode, the "invisible radio" & "gauges".. Once those "little" issues are addressed and PERMANENTLY fixed, i'll git me another one...real quick like.. Until then, I'll keep my Sky..

The 2008 model year has been shipping since last June or July. The listed changes are on my car and many others.

What we're all interested in is what changes are in store for the 2009 model year.

I'm keeping a list of all the problems reported on the RL. How do I know when they are changed in production. Such As: When will the tops get the new styled plastic rolled piece to prevent rub through tears as it gets older? When will the brake system be changed? When will all the electrical & turbo problems be worked out?

Yep, my base is for sale so I can order an RL. I was one of the first to order and get a Sky. All her bugs have been worked out. I REALLY don't want to sell a perfectly operating SKY, spend $10K more out the door just to have a car in the shop. (like SkyBaby)

If my car sells we are wondering if we should wait for the 2009's. RrrRRR...not having a SKY this summer will be Sad...but going into debt for another troublesome car will be worse!

I love my SKY!
