New problem

I was out driving last night and my car flashed a ESC off then flashed a service ESC. I called my dealer this morning and they said this to be odd if I dont have a anti lock brake light

Has anyone had this issue?

I have an appointment with my dealer thursday...will let you know what they say.

Never had this issue.

If Anti-lock fails, then ESC will likely fail since ESC uses anti-lock. However, the reverse is not true. ESC can fail, but anti-lock can still be operational.

About 1-2 weeks after getting my car, taking off from a stop sign and givin her the beans, spun the back wheels. I got the same Service ECS, ECS off.
I went to the dealer the next day and they couldn't find anything so they reset the code and off I went. Never had that again and I have certainly been spinning the wheels plenty of times since.

Good luck, probably a minor issue.

I took the car to the dealer today....They indicated that there was a bullietin regarding this problem.
They reprogramed the electronic brake/ and traction control module...so far so good

I have had it happen three times while having fun on the ice and snow, once on comp mode .It seemed to happen from start and as the car caught up to the spinning tires and i braked to slow down then repeated right away. the light would flash and reset giving me no traction control. I would have to stop turn off car and resart. I think I just confused the car, strange things always happens in the cold.
