Power assist steering

Has anyone else had the power steering pump start groaning and becoming hard to steer at low RPM's? Fluid is full, just sounds and feels like it's very stiff.

I don't remember anyone having a problem with the power steering pump. You may be a first.

Had two people about 8 or 9 months ago report leakage from the pumps but none as to groaning and hard to steer. Sounds like the pump has pumped its last....Skip....

Well, the bad news is that the pump and a "gear" in the steering need to be replaced. Worse news is that the parts won't be here 'till Tuesday. Good news is that she's still under warranty!

Fixed!

They replaced the pump and a gear a day ahead of schedule. My baby's back!

On the way home, a guy in an S2000 tried to act silly, sounded like a typical ricer with the single high pitched exhaust, but I just drove serenly past him and got into the twisty road home. Never saw him again.
