Replacing Battary with B2015c ?

Will I need a Kit for the B2015C to fit in the battery box?

There is no "battery box" on Kappas, just a tray that the battery sets in. There is a need to secure the battery, and Braille sells one, but it IS expensive. Just an observation; the 2015 may be more battery than the car needs as 1000+ CCA is more than most big V8s need !!!!! A +/- 700 CCA battery is all that's needed and they can be done cheaper and lighter than the Braille.

I know there is no box and only a tray. Miss use of wording. Snaponbob, I thank you for your time in tying to help me and others. I am ordering a new battery this week and removing the nightmare
that was put into my SKY. (wet cell).
The B2015c will fit no changes but the battery itself.
I am going to look into a diff battery but some of the people here on skyroadster.com are changing to the B2015c.

I went for the b2015c battery upgrade, when Braille sponsored my car (August of 2008) last year ......... my 15lb battery

you don't need to get the kit!

all you need is a set of Universal FRP Kit (10” J-Hooks). That's what I'm currently using right now.....

holds the battery tight!

I am checking on the Deka dry battery also.
740-800 C-Amp.
Anyone using a Deka battery?
Made in USA I am told.

Deka is very popular among "audio guys". They use it as a secondary battery for their sound system...and not really for their engine.

XS power is also good

but you'll be surprised that these "audio batteries" are also being used by other race cars to keep their cars light.

According to specs, the Deka lightweight batteries seem to have fairly low CCA ratings. Odyssey is probably a better choice for good CCA, lower price, good reputation, and low weight.

since you live in PA....and you want a lightweight battery............go with braille.

The b2015c is their lightest all-season battery that has a PCA of 1067 and CCA of 425...which will be helpful in starting your car during winter.

I use my car all year long, and my braille b2015c, never failed to start during a chilly winter morning......

early next year, braille will be sending me their b128L micro light lithium battery, which is only 8 lbs...............for me to test it out and give them feedbacks

I do not know the ans. to that? Nice overhead shot of your Yellow SKY.
I am removing the tabs on the battery tray to install the X2 battery. They do nothing to hold in the battery.
The GM battery is 9"L the new X2 is 10"L the only diff..
Someone said it is not a mod. entill you use a power tool. I need 1/4" on ea. side.

I have LEDs on my car, and I turn on my sound system during NIGHT car shows......no problems....

I installed the X2 extreme battery .
from battery plus .
You will have to knock the tabs over on the battery shelf to install this battery with a hammer .
