"Service ESC"
I just had this problem. Supposedly it was solved by the dealer "updating" the ECM. has anyone else had this? I wasn't doing anything bad, HONEST!
![]() Not even turning it on or off today. Just out of the garage and onto the road. Clif

Had this within 2 weeks of buying my R/L. Dealer reset, and I have had no problem since (11 months).

It's a faulty calibration issue with the Electronic Stability Control system. There's an update to the PCM to recalibrate the lateral accelerometer (yaw sensor). The same issue exists on the Outlooks and the Aura's, but it's not VIN specific so we've been addressing the issue as the customers have been noticing it.

Yeah...I "accidentally" did a 360 in my car and it showed up. Luckily, I cleared the code when I changed my oil, so I didn't have anything embarrassing to explain to my service manager.
